Shown are preview images of products coming soon for Sony’s EX3 camcorder: A reinforcement base plate and a shoulder brace with an optional hinged battery mount plate. Because the final product will be anodized, the finish will look different from the photos.

EX3 Reinforcement Plate
The reinforcement plate is shown with and without the stock Sony shoulder pad.
EX3 Shoulder Brace & Battery Mount
The shoulder brace is shown with the optional hinged battery mount system. When hinged back, the weight of the battery acts as a counterbalance to the weight of the camera.
VCT Wedge Plate
VCT wedge plates are optional for all three versions. Any tripod or quick release plate with 1/4”-20 and 3/8”-16 threads will be compatible with all these EX3 base plate products.
