This adapter offers a way to mount a microphone or light on small camcorders less than 2 3/4" / 70mm tall and less than 3" / 76mm wide. It offers a 3" long slot to adjust for best shotgun mic location to avoid encroachment onto the video image.
This part has been tested on Canon FS10, FS100, HF10 and HF100, and it should work with many other cameras, given the above limitations. Also tested on Sony's HDR-CX430.
This mount is made of aluminum and given a durable powder coating in satin black.
