DM-Accessories

These shoulder kits are designed for Sony's PMW-EX1 and EX1R camcorders.  They include an adjustable reinforcement plate, a standard shoulder plate kit.  The accessory plate option also includes a pivoting plate with pivot latch clip a one cable clip to manage two cables.

The shoulder plate is a comfortable, thick leather-wrapped foam that allows for many hours of continuous operation.

The optional accessory plate allows the mounting of wireless drop boxes, a variety of battery plates and other kinds of camera accessories.  The pivoting feature allows the weight of a battery to tilted back to counterbalance the weight of the camera.  A typical battery would project about 20cm / 8" behind the back of the camera operator when tilted back. The accessory plate does not include any batteries, battery mounts, wireless drop boxes.

The adjustable reinforcement plate allows the camera to be moved forward, back or to the side depending on the operator's preferences.  The side offset ability can allow the operator use the camera's eyepiece if so desired, it can be shifted to either side, for comfortable right or left eye operation.  The last picture below depicts the available side offset, shown is for right eye, left eye has the same available offset in the opposite direction.
